Kuwaiti oil field begins slowing down. It's a good thing that we aren't activily resolving alternative fuel issues. I guess the oil level is God's hour glass for armeggedon. These ARE the latter days, and we DO need SOMETHING to trigger the great final war between the abrahamic religions, we the lovable, just misguided Jews are destroyed, the Onward Christian Soldiers crush the heathen Muslims and the world is totally destroyed!!! KUWAIT: It was an incredible revelation last week that the second largest oil field in the world is exhausted and past its peak output. Yet that is what the Kuwait Oil Company revealed about its Burgan field. The peak output of the Burgan oil field will now be around 1.7 million barrels per day, and not the two million barrels per day forecast for the rest of the field's 30 to 40 years of life, Chairman Farouk Al-Zanki told Bloomberg. He said that engineers had tried to maintain 1.9 million barrels per day but that 1.7 million is the optimum rate. Kuwait will now spend some $3 million a year for the next year to boost output and exports from other fields.

don't know if i talked about it much here, but let me share with you the key to all this shit - Identity. It is the single most powerful motivator in the human psyche.
nationalism, religion, cliques, political parties, geographical communities -
They all use identity to solidify the group, and to gain power.

the biggest problem is the identities that have disconnected them selves from reality.
If it is ok to base your morals on an imaginary element for your self (Christian Armageddon) than you have abandoned all the tools you need to combat the same ludicrous system of thinking that leads to Terrorism being ok because of the afterlife rewards (but really it is the identity of the group, rebel psychology and sacrifice values that do that)

I was going to write earlier about how cool it was to have me amigos y me familia at a suprise birthday party for me self over the Christmas holiday, whilst spent in ol' town USA. But I didn't. It was totemo suteki, though.

I'm back in my lonely NorthWest, living a solitary life with zoujaty (my wife) and kelby (my dog). I work and they get home and eat and then dick around with games or the internet then i sleep.

I need to keep writing my novel. 112 pages so far. I estimate it will take 3 to 4 hundred to get her done.

I've always been a big picture guy. This helps in concockting the epic 8 novel story that will shatter all previously known records for bad ass-i-tude, as well as provide a cool perspective on existence, however it does incline me away from the discipline i need to get shit completed. And the stick to it -ivness, and what not.

But 112 is nothing to shake a biscotti at. It will eventually be finished. I just need to put in the time.

On antoher note, I've applied for many more jobs i wont get!! They were good ones too!!
We may still do the JET program and move to Japan and teach Eigo (english) to the kiddies there. Which would rock much. I was there summer of 04 and let me tell you - Nippon wa subarashii desu yo!

Perhaps this is an extention of the human soul? or at least the psychological by-product of religious morality through applied to society by surface judgements over a long period of time. Is it really ok for you to cheat on your spouse as long as she doesn't know and the surface remains clean? Is it ok to destroy progressive reformers simply because they may actually help their own people more than yours, all as long as the facade of Virtue is kept intact?

And when the ugly truth comes out, there is already a scapegoat / pay off dynamic to repair it.

Would society be better off fighting for consistent moral standards? Or do we need to develope a moral ethic that accepts the limits and fears and self-interests we all have, and deal with them honestly in the light of day?

Or does humanity demand double standards, the surface image and the dirty hidden acts? Do we need to lie to ourselves?

I think the better route is the grey line between the two, dictated by your own active conscience.

But reason and complex reality can't compete with Black and White marketing to steal all the votes...

Unlesss you can find a way to make such sales unfavorable...
But with the huge majority of citizens that believe in Pure good and pure evil already, ....blah!

Even Christian Democracts are less black and white than the Republican base. Sure the Dem have their share of wackos, but liberal have to deal with progressed ideas - that means that there is apre-existing infrastrute of secuirty and economy to build onto.

Reality is NEVER simple and anyone that panders/markets the black and white perspective is taking the easy route to votes, which works =(,instead of the visionary route that this nation was built on.

Lets not lie here. Big business interest and the politican the fund favor stability (with = status qou, which = I am still rich) over progress (which = change/uncertainty/and taxes).

There is a good arguement in favor of that. And people that would elect someone based SOLEY on their ability to wear their religion and their stance on abortion on their sleeves (while knowing that they wont do anything to change the stalemate/ stability) may deserve to be used. They, after all, chose it.

I just hope that our dear politician/CEOs are smart enough to not actually believe in the "value" of Armegeddon. Let's hope they are greedy enough for money and shit that they don't value "70 virgins" or "Jesus Crispy Treats" over cold hard cash.

Maybe, dispite screwing over any one they can get away with, it will be GREED that will save us all.....
